I just bought a house and my insurance agent told me to make sure and find out if the house has a sewer/drain backup system. Such as a sump pump. And if it doesnt then I think I’m “supposed” to get some extra “thing” on my home owners insurance to cover that. Anyone know anything about any of that????

We live in a mobile home and in the past few months we’ve had outlets and lights ALL go on along on side of the house. I’m thinking this may have been caused that came through a window in a bedroom. Any idea if home owners insurance will cover this?
